The integrity test of the pleated filter elements is an experiment that detects the bubble point, diffusion flow and other parameters. This experiment offers the benefits of easy detection and high reliability. The hydrophilic membrane filter element of the experiment is tested using pure water and the hydrophobic membrane filtr element with 60% IPA.


Before you use the automatic integrity tester, confirm its accuracy, inspect the air tightness and verify that the inlet pressure is sufficient to reach the requested level. The inlet pressure requested is typically set at 5-7bar and the test temperature to 20-25degC.


Components: Filter, pressure gauge, combined joints, clean air source and liquid pump. The connection is completed by the wet process.


Turn off the valve, close the valve, close the exhaust valve, turn the water pump on, turn on other exhaust valves, then turn on the water pump. Close the exhaust valve and turn off the water pump.


After opening the valve completely, flush it for 5-10 seconds. Adjust the valve and adjust the pressure gauge 1. The pressure gauge 1 should be at P1=4-4.45bar. If the flow rate is greater than 5L/min for 10 seconds, flush out the wet filter element.


The higher the flow rate, and the longer the flushing period, the easier it will be to wet the filter elements, and the more accurate your test results.
