What Jewelry Should I Wear for Prom?

keep it simple. Teardrop pearls and a pearl neclace would be pretty

1. what type of stores typically sell body Jewelry?

my favorite online store is piercedfish.com ... they give you the jewelery in little customized paper/plastic containers that are ohhh sooo cute! they've got great deals and if you have their membership ($10 a year), you get free shipping an 10% discount for every purchase I've gotten Jewelry from hot topic, and spencer's as well.

2. What kind of Jewelry would be valuable in a world where anything can be produced?

I can see three scenarios:The value of jewelery is not determined by the skill of its maker, or the value of the materials, but by the fame of the maker. The value of jewelery is largely self-expression, or to put it simply "Brand-names provide bragging rights".By the way, how do you like my new Rolex?Picture the stereotype of the "modern" artist. The value of a piece of jewelery is not determined by the skill of the maker, or the value of its materials, but by the circumstances in which it was produced. At this point, even an Gorilla could be a jeweler..Authenticity is nice and good, but it can not exactly be showed off. Cue the sledgehammer; Jewelery shifts from merely decorative to "providing an experience". Everyone that wears jewelery turns into a walking Art instalation.Say, did you hear about Lady Gaga's meat dress? So scandalous!

3. what is your favorite Jewelry brand?

You did not say whether you were interested in fine Jewelry or not but you might want to look at Judith Leiber's stuff. Rather than a brand per se, I usually prefer 18KT yellow and white gold; diamonds, tanzanites and tsavorites. I try to get the highest quality (clarity, cut and color) available in my price range. I stay away from blood diamonds and prefer Canadian stock. The gold Jewelry designs I prefer are from Italy.

4. i sent a 21k gold Jewelry which weigh 27grm to us gold buyers and i got 621 dollars six hundred and 21 dollar?

It sounds like you may have been ripped off. Next time do more research and never do business with companies that advertise on TV infomercials

5. what Jewelry would you wear with this dress?! please help!?

Pretty dress! I would wear a crystal necklace in silver with matching small dangle earrings or if you are wearing your hair up, matching chandelier earrings. Claire's or Icing has some cute stuff if you do not want to spend a lot of money.

6. Jewelry making...what kind of wire do I use to make bracelets?

I always use Softflex beading wire, I think Beadalon is too stiff. Softflex is more expensive, about $11.00 per 30' roll, but if you are only making one project, your local bead store should be able to help you by selling you a couple feet of it. It should cost you about .39 per foot. They always have an open spool that they use in the store. I always use one foot of wire for a bracelet, that leaves you enough to work with when you are putting on the clasp, then you can cut off the ends. I usually use .014: .019 sometimes will not go through the smaller beads or through the crimps twice when you put on the clasp., but with larger beads like you are planning on using it might be appropriate. When you need to find out what size your bracelet should be, measure the wrist right where it joins the hand. That is the length of your beads. When you put the clasp on, that should make it just about the right size, but it is still a good idea to try it before putting the clasp on: the beads should just meet around your wrist when you hold it in place. You will need spacers between your alpha beads so they hang right. 5mm sterling silver beads or disc shaped beads work well. Your bead store can help you , you might consider taking a bracelet class and have that be your project., so you know how to put on the clasp and finish it.

7. Survey:How many pieces of Jewelry do you wear on an average day?

I only wear my watch, so that makes one
